Stainless steel is an alloy of iron and chromium that may also contain nickel, molybdenum, and other elements, with physicochemical properties superior to those of ordinary steels. Its main characteristic is the oxidation resistance. Some of its other characteristics are:
- High-temperature resistance;
- Ease of cleaning;
- Hygienic material;
- High corrosion resistance;
- Durability
- 100% recyclable.
The main markets that use stainless steels are: Domestic utensils; hospital equipment, production of vehicle parts such as exhausts; construction; food industry, chemical and petroleum industry; and the sector of facades and visual signs.
